We had a complex commercial/residential “historic ” property that had been on the market for some time. It was a 1830’s Greek Revival in a small town located within the village business district. It was large, needed outside cosmetic work and was competing with newer, smaller and more residential suited houses. The market in town was notoriously slow, with little turnover and low prices, when something did sell. The house had been modernized and rehabbed in the interior, and was ready for a unique live in/ owner operated business situation. It had the potential of a apartment rental. I asked Joe and Kelly to look into marketing our property because the local realtors had been unable to stir up any interest in the property over the last 6 years of listing ( we saw less than 6 showings during that time period). We decided to go outside of the local resources and find a team that was willing to go after unique situations in a different way. Their energy, expertise and drive was encouraging. They researched multiple potentials: commercial, developmental and residential markets outside of town and throughout central Massachusetts. They researched the market value and helped us set a reasonable price within our return expectations. Right away we had numerous showings. With their advice we made minor improvements and price adjustments to improve the salability of the property. And it sold….after a couple of months. Because of the complexity of the property, Joe and Kelly helped us to finalize the sale by supplying the proper paperwork, working with the attorneys, facilitating the inspections and getting the required sign offs. When other people ask me about my experience with this team, I tell them that they accomplished what other realtors could not do in timely, professional and cost effective way. Would I use them again, Yes!
My husband and I started interviewing realtors toward the end of August 2016 to find someone that would help us sell our home in Worcester and also help us find a new home somewhere in MA. I say somewhere because we had no specific location in mind. We decided on The Pro’s. After meeting with Kelly we felt that she really knew the Burncoat market. Not having a specific location did make things a little complicated, but Kelly stayed with us the whole time. We finally found the perfect home and closed this week. The Pro’s sold our home and helped us find a new one in less than 4 months! Their entire team worked on our behalf and never made us feel unattended. Whenever we called them, someone was always there to answer our questions or concerns. I would recommend The Pro’s to anyone looking to buy or sell their home.
Joe was the second realtor we hired to help us sell our home Shrewsbury. Although it was a newer home in a nice development, and had an open layout that we though would be a great selling point, it was not like all the other center hall colonials in the neighborhood, and its unusual floor plan made finding a buyer more difficult than we thought. In addition to developing an aggressive marketing plan, Joe and Kelly also helped with ideas for staging the house and once we had a firm offer, worked tirelessly negotiating with the buyers to complete the sale. While working to sell our current home, Joe also worked with us to find our new home as well. Things could not have worked out better as we were able to close on both homes the same day! Truly cannot say enough about Joe Provost! Joe was amazing when it came time to sell our house. He worked around the clock with showings, calls, and emails to other brokers.
