Where to watch the Pats Play in Worcester
While many people are still focusing on Christmas and where to watch Star Wars this week, there are still die hard New England fans gearing up for the next game. So, where can you go when you want to get out of the house, maybe grab a beer and a bite and watch the Patriots play.
Here’s a list of some of our favorite local spots with great food, drinks and the right atmosphere to enjoy the game.
Perfect Game – Voted Worcester’s Best Sports Bar by Worcester Magazine every year since opening its doors in May of 2010. Located in the heart of Worcester’s Canal District, Perfect Game provides customers with a wide array of sports visuals via their 14 HD TVs, and Worcester largest HD screen, a whopping 110 inches.
The Banner Bar & Grille – The Banner is located just outside Kelley Square on Green Street. The Banner brings a unique feel and atmosphere to the area. It’s a comfortable, friendly sports bar, great for catching a game on one of their 11 plasmas or grabbing a bite with friends. Pub style menu ranging from burgers and sandwiches to shepherd’s pie and steak tips.
Brew City – Brew City is located in the heart of Shrewsbury St. and features an award winning selection of beer that includes over 155 different beers with 40 on tap. You can catch all the NFL Action with DirectTV’s NFL Sunday Ticket and 16 TVs, including large flat screens.
Smokestack Urban Barbecue – Worcester’s own Barbecue restaurant located on Green St. and offering traditional BBQ plates mixed with flavor influences from the south. Smokestack Urban Barbecue has made a name for itself because of its large portions of dry-rubbed and smoked BBQ fare. They also offer NFL Sunday Ticket making it a great spot to catch the game.
